All SAFER cats are spayed/neutered. No unaltered cats can be adopted from SAFER.
All SAFER cats have tested negative for FIV and FeLV; all SAFER cats have received age appropriate vaccination for rabies and distemper.
No cats/kittens can be adopted without an application.
The adoption fee for kittens is $100 for one kitten up to 16 weeks of age or $175 for two kittens. The adoption fee for adult cats and $75 for one cat between the ages of 16 weeks and 5 years for $125 for two cats. The adoption fee for cats over five years of age is waived, although a donation to offset vet cost is appreciated. The adoption fee helps defray the cost of feline aids & feline leukemia testing, spaying/neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, and other veterinary costs necessary to medically clear the kitten/cat.
