A Major Triumph for Cats: A Paw in the Right Direction!!

 

New York State becomes the 1st State to Prohibit Declawing!  As of June 2019, the entire state of NY joined 10 cities in California (including LA and San Francisco) and Dever in Outlawing the inhumane practice of declawing cat's paws.  Bravo NY & all the others who have taken this excellent action.  Come on all you other states, get on board and treat cats with compassion and humanity!

Cat declawing is already illegal in a good swath of Canada and Europe.
